Cherry Blossom Cocktails – From Flower to Fruit

Experience DC’s Favorite Flower Like Never Before

We begin on Capitol Hill where a mysterious man kept our city wet during Prohibition and learn to create a seasonally inspired take on DC’s signature cocktail. We travel to the tidal basin near the National Mall and learn why exactly we have the cherry blossom trees and who were the women behind the project. We finish the class by creating a fruit-focused cocktail inspired by a local women-owned distillery.  

Aside from carefully curated cocktails and fascinating history, your experience includes recipes so you can recreate the cherry blossom cocktails after the event. 

A portion of your ticket price will be donated to Bread for the City, a DC organization that provides food, clothing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty.
